Let’s Shed Light on Yellow
The yellow is a complex and mysterious hue. With its thousands of shades, it can both frighten and fascinate. Some people consider it’s a too bright colour offensive to the eye and which fails the test of time. But it’s quite the opposite: the yellow, when it’s well-used, to contrast with a dominant cold base or in addition to warm materials such as wood and velvet, can warm the atmosphere of a whole room and bring sunny tints. The Hotel Providence is a great example of this statement. The idea is to choose a reference with rather warm tones, such as the mustard or sunshine yellow, and to put just one touch of it in the room. Its alliance with some patterns may surprise you, and its perfect match with navy blue may amaze you. So why not try and dare! Little by little, go further. Just like Sabrina Ficarra, illuminate your room with a ligh flat tint which smells like the south of France. The colour will catch the sunshines and will give a summer atmosphere to your room the whole year. Are you convinced by the good vibes of this positive energy Eugénie de Mortemart advocates? Try to put some touches of yellow in your child’s bedroom. Since, except for the fact we say this colour can stimulate your creativity, it’s also an extremely joyfull colour which perfectly matches with pieces of furniture with more neutral colours. Has it won your heart?
