Before the celebration, before the feast, before the taste of virgin Loulou, there was this moment full of attention. The desire to set the most elegant table to welcome beloved ones. The brilliance: daring to accumulate materials, colors, patterns, and objects. What if this immaculate
tablecloth, dotted with square English embroidery, flirted with the festive stripes of the
placemats? Or would you prefer to layer it over the deep green of the
linen? And if rainbow contrasts came to life through
vases,
candle holders, and
dishes? And why not all of this at once? After all, it is the sweet and carefree season, the one of all possibilities. The one where a characterful openwork tablecloth surrounded by children whirls around. The one where, upon waking, it is enough to return to the already set table to savor croissants brought back from an enchanted walk. And so on, until the time for back to school.
