A Colourful Children’s Bedroom
Children’s bedrooms have changed enormously and give free rein to mums’ imaginations. It’s one of the rooms where there’s the least compromise on both sides. Where mothers can wholeheartedly enjoy choosing prints, a quirky decor and above all – colour. No more monochrome spaces. A colourful children’s bedroom promises a polished aesthetic. At least until the kids decide otherwise! So we can be a bit daring, make mistakes and start again. The space can be used as a mini testing lab. A kaleidoscope of colourful mobiles from different lands, colours that dance in the sky to awaken their curiosity, wallpaper with geometric or floral motifs: although black appears on the walls and clothing, we want to make marriages. Explosion. A colourful children’s bedroom where the pigments bring the furniture to life. Sunny yellow carpet, old multicoloured rugs, sharp graphics – know no limits. Next comes the choice of furniture. So, lay the foundations. Start with a section of wall and choose the colour or the pattern with care. You need to be sure that you could use them yourself in a living room or a hallway. As Florence Claude says, the most important thing is “to make children aware of aesthetics early on, in relation to objects and the harmony of colours, because they develop their eye and their taste from a very young age“, so put yourself at their level. Fun, modern, quirky – there’s no doubt that a colourful children’s bedroom has all the ingredients of the grown-up version.
What is exhilarating is to make the colorful children's room evolved according to their age!
