How to Apply our Matt Paint Palette in your Home?
Driven by a common desire to bring our two worlds together, and the excitement of creating new ways to express ourselves, The Socialite Family and Mériguet-Carrère Paris have joined forces to design a limited palette of signature colours that tells a story. It’s the story of three colour ranges, “Les Réalistes”, “Les Dadaïstes” and “Les Modernistes”, each composed of three shades that blend together perfectly. An off-the-peg solution that you can follow or explore by yourself, complemented by a textured paper with a plaster-like effect to bring an even more lively look to your walls. To help you even more in the composition of your interiors – and to help you project your personality with our pigmented creations – here are the possible combinations available for you to choose by the family of shades. A mood board where you will find decorative ideas you can make your own using a perfect blend of the trios we have created for you. So, how about using pale shades (Dora, Florence, George) to temper and add a lighter touch to more unusual flat tint (Salvador, Pierre, Jean) in a corridor or a kitchen for an enveloping and perhaps even surprising look (applied over our textured paper). But it’s also nice, sometimes, to play with a total-look effect by painting the mouldings, the doors and perhaps the ceiling in the same glowing colour (Alain, Charlotte, Marcel), then bringing in a contrast afterwards through the materials used in your furniture or your wall decoration. And you can be daring, and create exciting interactions between members of the same artistic tribe in a corner, in a geometric style or by taking advantage of the architectural features in your interior. So many tips and good ideas to take on board before you begin!
