At 12 rue Saint-Fiacre in Paris’ 2nd arrondissement, the whole universe of our brand is coming alive for good, in a stylish and welcoming setting of Milanese influence, punctuated by references to the childhood of our founder and artistic director Constance Gennari. The most vivid being that of the entrance halls typical of 1960s apartment buildings, which featured large in her upbringing. To recreate that very special ambiance, we employed skilled artisans to lay a terrazzo floor in shades of green marble and white, giving a style that is at once mineral and urban. For added warmth we chose mahogany wood for the walls, punctuated here and there by subtle touches of brass. The raspberry-red lacquer of our payment desk does a brilliant job of illuminating the floor. This is an important colour for The Socialite Family’s identity. Just as this first store is important in the way it reflects the unique DNA of our collections. Finally, striated travertine tiles mingle with this ensemble of wood, brass and terrazzo, for a result that is very graphic and yet gentle on the eye.
